Divine
Mankind was created in the image of God, embodying a part of the divine nature of the universe. The unfortunate reality is that we often fail to recognize our own divinity. Instead, many individuals perceive themselves and others as mere animals, which leads to a dominance of primal instincts over our higher selves.
Who Are You?
We often lose sight of our true selves by allowing the world to define who we are, leading us down a path of pain and sorrow as we fail to realize our fullest potential.
When I was in elementary school, there was a game we called the dozens where kids would exchange jokes at each other's expense, often resulting in laughter from the crowd; however, it felt very different when you were the target of the jokes, and it became a source of embarrassment.
Children can be cruel, and even now, when I live near an elementary school, I still hear kids hurling insults at one another as they walk down the street. While this might seem like just kids being kids, I know that many who were subjected to relentless teasing still carry the emotional scars of those experiences into adulthood, with hurtful words becoming ingrained in their minds, leading them to internalize the negative beliefs that were cast upon them.
I have experienced teasing myself and felt the pain of being talked about for the amusement of others. Over time, I have learned that throughout our lives, people will hold negative opinions about us, but we must find the strength to rise above such hateful words.
You are far more than your appearance or what others say about you; you were created by God, the ultimate creator of all that exists.
Once you come to understand your true identity and what God says about you, you will start to perceive yourself and others in a much more positive light.
Mind
All you truly possess is your mind, so I urge you to harness its power to the fullest because with a strong mind, you hold the key to everything.
Body
We have only one body, and it has a limited lifespan. If we do not prioritize our health, we risk becoming confined by our own physical limitations. No one wants to spend their days in bed, so it is essential to understand what to eat, how to stay active, and how to maximize the potential of our bodies.
Spirit
Your spirit is the vital force that animates your body. Many people may find it challenging to grasp the concept of spirit, but think of it as the driver of a car. Your body represents the car, while your spirit is the one behind the wheel. Let us delve into how you can embrace and cultivate a powerful spiritual life.
Soul
Your soul is a combination of your mind, your spirit and your will. Your soul of the core of the layer of your being.

7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Sometimes we are placed in a situation where we have loved ones including parents, siblings or relatives that say things that hurt us and because it is family these things hurt to the core. Often times it is out of cruelty or just out of ignorance our loved ones say things about us that make us question who we are and our worth in the world.
Then we have our society such as teachers or our employers saying and doing things that make us feel like we are less than. It is difficult to be able to have a postive self image if you have people in your environment telling you that you are not worthy.
So how do you build your self esteem back up? And how do you find out who you really are and why you are here on this planet?
This is why it is so important to read the scriptures so you can see what God says about you.
- Psalm 82:6 (KJV): "I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High."
- John 10:34 (KJV): "Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?"
However if you don't read the Bible then you would not have learned what God (the creater of all that exists) thinks about you.
You Are Sons of God
